Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Southern Coatings Inc, trading as SCI Roofing ("we", "us"), does with the information you give us through the quote and inspection forms on quote.sciroof.com, and what this website collects automatically while you are on it.

Information you give us

Every quote form on this site asks for the same three things, and one page also offers a property address field:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• The property address — optional, and only on the general roofing form
• The service you are asking about — chosen in the form, or set by the page you submitted from

We do not ask for payment details, and no form on this site collects them.

Information collected automatically

When you submit a form we record, alongside your answers:

• Your IP address, your browser user-agent string and the page you submitted from
• The advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters carried in the URL that brought you here — gclid, gbraid, wbraid, msclkid, fbclid and the utm_* values — so we know which advertisement your enquiry came from
• The date and time of the submission

While you browse, our Google Tag Manager container (GTM-M3SZ48T3) loads measurement tags: Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and call tracking, which may show you a different phone number from the one written in the page so that a call can be attributed to the advertisement you clicked. These set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can block them in your browser settings or with an ad-blocking extension; the forms still work.

Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that check.

How we use it

• To call, text or email you back about the roof you asked us about, and to book your free inspection
• To prepare and send your written estimate
• To keep a record of the enquiry so nothing is lost if an email fails to deliver
• To measure which advertisements produce genuine enquiries

We do not use your details for any purpose you did not contact us about, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask to join.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers that make the enquiry work:

• Our email provider, which delivers the enquiry to our office inbox
• Google, for reCAPTCHA verification, analytics and advertising measurement
• Our call-tracking provider, where a call is placed to a tracked number
• Anyone we are legally required to disclose it to

Calls, texts and emails

By submitting a form you are asking a member of the SCI Roofing team to contact you about your roof. We may reach you by phone call, SMS text message or email at the number and address you gave us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or tell us by phone or email — it does not affect the estimate you asked for.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our record-keeping and tax obligations, and are deleted after that. They are stored on a restricted-access server.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will action the request. Florida and other US state privacy laws may give you further rights depending on where you live; tell us what you need and we will honour it.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are verified before they are accepted, and enquiry records are stored with restricted file permissions. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is for adults arranging roofing work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
